Made You Look
Ty'rone Haughton's debut five star show
"Acerbic writing and feverish performance" - 5 Stars, Everything Theatre
‘Master of his craft’ is thrown around a lot. But rarely do we see someone practise it quite like this.

Made You Look is a visceral and explosive one-man poetry show interrogating masculinity and what it means to be an immigrant in a Britain growing increasingly hostile towards minorities and women.
The show fuses the line between theatre and poetry, incorporating movement and visual art to create a deeply emotional, at times uncomfortable, but profoundly necessary experience.
The set doubles as a post-show exhibition, drawing out themes and references from the performance which audiences are invited to explore after the post-show reasoning, a space after the performance where audiences are invited to digest and discuss the themes of the work with the performer and each other.
